It’s the unusual leaders that stick with us, just like glitter does as it falls out of cards or rubs off of decorations or makeup. It’s the glitterbombs who challenge “how things have always been done,” not because they’re workplace anarchists but because they bring umami to the boardroom. They innovate.
We must hold space for the glitterbombs, otherwise the workplace will be a lot less luminescent. We must welcome them to be their truest, most colorful selves.
