Your gathering, with a side of Glitterbomb
Who wants to sit through the same ol’ slog of cringey icebreakers, ineffective breakouts, and confusing outcomes?
Definitely. Not. Me.
Whether you’re a team of 5 or 40 that’s just starting up, dealing with big change, strategizing for what’s next, or scaling to new heights, gathering together is a critical factor in your shared success -- and a skilled facilitator can make-or-break the impact of that experience.
Uproar’s custom workshops start with the end in mind, and tailor an experience that’s engaging and drives momentum beyond those hours around the table.
Why me? Glad you asked.
I focus on inclusive, ethical, and accountable participation and growth in an environment of psychological and emotional safety.
Since I’ve spent over 35 years on stages large and small, I’m a fearless public speaker and an adaptable, multi-partial facilitator who understands people. You'll leave my custom engagements feeling energized, focused and ready to take action.
Recognized as one of the top coaches in DC and a thought-leader in organizational change management, my career has crossed industry and sectors, with one thing in common: a celebration of people, teams, and the power of gathering.
Workshops: Rethink What It Means to Gather
You’re not conventional; why should your gatherings be?
From half-day team-builders to multi-day retreats, Uproar’s workshops are tailored to your audience, and are anything but boring.
Here’s how it works:
We begin with a 30 minute discovery call, to learn a little more about what’s bringing your group together, what your outcomes are, and what the timeline is
From there, I will propose an agenda with individual, small group, and/or large group activities and discussions that meet your needs, exceed your goals, and make this gathering something you won’t forget
You’ll receive the agenda, and we’ll again connect to confirm it hits your “wants”. We’ll talk logistics, and then I’ll get working
I’ll see you day-of, either online or in-person
Previous workshops covered:
Team foundations, including creating Mission, Vision and Values
Statements; coming together as a newly combined team post-organizational change; team working norms
